1. Who we are

In this Policy, “ioclean”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to IOCLEAN Pty Ltd, trading as ioclean. Our registered office is in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

2. What information we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our cleaning operations:

• Quote enquiries — name, business name, email address, phone number, site suburb and a free-text description of the work required.
• Active client records — site contact details, access instructions, service schedule and post-visit checklists.
• Site visit records — photo-verified checklists captured by our crew during a clean. These can include images of surfaces, fixtures and equipment but are not used for marketing.
• Website analytics — aggregated, non-identifying traffic data (e.g. page views, referring domain, country). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

3. How we use it

We use personal information solely to:

• respond to quote requests and provide cleaning services;
• maintain client records and audit-ready cleaning logs;
• communicate about scheduling, invoicing and service changes;
• meet our legal and insurance obligations (e.g. WorkCover, public liability).

We do not sell personal information to anyone. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We only disclose personal information to:

• our employees and contractors who need it to deliver the service you have engaged us for;
• service providers we use to run the business (e.g. accounting software, email, secure file storage), all of whom are subject to confidentiality obligations;
• government, regulatory or law-enforcement bodies where we are legally required to.

5. Storage and security

Personal information is stored in access-controlled systems with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Paper records (where used) are kept in locked storage at our Melbourne office. We retain quote enquiries for up to 24 months and active client records for as long as you are a client, plus 7 years thereafter to meet record-keeping obligations.

6. Cookies

This website uses a minimal set of strictly-necessary cookies and local storage entries for things like remembering that the loading splash has played. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

7. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@ioclean.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
